张大千再传弟子、著名画家王明科先生，1943年生，早年毕业于中央工艺美术学院（现为清华大学美术学院），得益于诸多名家亲授。毕业后又入门拜师学艺，师承中国工笔花鸟画一代宗师、美术教育家俞致贞、刘力上和田世光教授（均为张大千入室弟子），擅长工笔花鸟、人物，精研于工写彩墨画。

王明科先生从事绘画艺术五十余年，曾出访数十个国家和地区，阅历丰富。数百幅作品在中国，美国，日本，韩国，澳大利亚，乌克兰，新加坡，泰国，香港，台湾等地展览，出版和收藏。1995年在北京中国美术馆成功举办的《王明科画展》，中央电视台，中央人民广播电台，人民日报及海外版等数十家媒体予以报道。出版有《王明科画集》，《王明科彩墨画》，《王明科彩墨画选》，以及《画家王明科》电视片等多种。

曾入编《中国当代美术家名录》，《当代中国书画名家宝鉴》，《当代中国美术》，《中国现代书画集》，《中国画集》，《世界华人美术名家年鉴》，《张大千的世界》，《中国艺苑——俞致贞专辑》，《当代中国艺术光盘著作》等多种文献。

作品《夏威夷花卉》获第二届世界华人艺术大奖《国际荣誉金奖》，《贵在自然》获中国外经贸部绘画展特等奖，《祥和颂》获纪念周恩来诞辰一百周年绘画展一等奖，《清池红莲》获澳大利亚奥本市最高艺术贡献奖等多种奖项。

王明科先生在继承中国传统绘画的基础上，经过多年探索大胆创新，将中国工笔画、写意画与西方绘画艺术相融合，在生宣纸上泼墨泼彩、兼工带写，独创了一种别具一格的工写彩墨画。这种具有现代美感的彩墨画新颖优美，清新雅致，深受海内外人们所喜爱。中国文化艺术界的数十位名家前辈对王明科先生的绘画艺术高度评价为：“别开生面”，“脱略凡格”，“新颖优美”，“艺苑奇葩”，“不仅品种新奇，而技法亦随之而出新，不是墨守旧章，千篇一律，这真是推陈出新，既有传统又有时代精神，故能耐人寻味”......

王明科先生现旅居澳大利亚，经常往来于亚太地区，活跃于绘画艺术界。王明科先生现任澳大利亚画院院长、澳大利亚美术家协会艺术顾问、北京中国画研究会副会长、中国国际友人书画院副院长、北京美术家协会会员、俞致贞刘力上艺术馆副馆长、中国书画函授大学教授、高级工艺美术师等；曾担任中国对外经济贸易广告协会副会长、中化国际广告展览有限公司总经理、中国工艺美术系列高级职称任职资格评审委员、中国广告协会学术委员会委员、国际广告协会（IAA）会员、北京大学专业顾问等。

Ming Ke, Wang was born 1943 in Weifang city, Shandong province, China. A highly acclaimed Chinese painter, industrial artist and advertising specialists and proclaimed second generation disciple of Zhang Da Qian. Graduated from Central Institute of Art (currently known as Art College of Qing Hua University), Wang was taught and tutored by many well-known painters. His teachers included Gong Bi* master painters and art professors Mr. Yu Zhi Zhen, Liu Li Shang and Tian Shi Guang(They were earlier students of Mr. Zhang Da Qian). Wang specialized in Gongbi art for birds and flowers, portraits and landscape painting, and at later stage he also specialized in Xie Yi* art of ink and wash paintings.

Wang painted for more than forty years and traveled more than thirty different countries and seized different floral characteristics and natural conditions as raw materials for his work. He also specialized in Chinese ink and wash paintings for American Squirrels, which possessed a unique style of creativity, well received by many enthusiasts and widely recognized as the master of Chinese squirrel paintings. His creative ink and wash floral paintings applied Chinese and western art theories, techniques, tools and colors. This creates modern and original floral and bird paintings which mixed painting and calligraphy, colors and ink with brilliant tones. These paintings are well received by many enthusiasts world wide. The paintings were also highly acclaimed by many well known artists in the industry.

Wang had exhibitions, displays and collections for hundreds of his paintings in China, America, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Ukraine, Thailand and Hong Kong. During 1995, he staged the art exhibition in the China National Art Museum. During 1996, there was a round trip exhibition tour staged in five major USA cities. During 1998, he presented exhibitions in China and overseas. His art is also covered by over thirty domestic and international media organizations, which include CCTV (China Central Television station), CCP radio (China Central People' s radio station), People' s Daily and its overseas section, Beijing Television station, Beijing People' s radio station. There were also publications which include " Wang Ming Ke art collection " , " Collection of Wang Ming Ke art exhibitions " , " Calendars of Wang Ming Ke art collections " and many others. Films include " Wang Ming Ke – the artist " Radio exclusive interviews, CD-Rom collections and more.

Wang' s art synopsis was included in many collections, these include: Chronology of world famous Chinese artists; Modern Chinese painting artist collection; Modern Chinese Calligraphy and paintings; Directory of contemporary Chinese rtists, Modern Chinese art; Chinese art paintings collection, CD collection of contemporary Chinese art and many more.

In April 1994, the work " Hawaiian floral collection " was awarded gold medal in the second global Chinese artist award. Wang also received the title as " Famous Chinese artist". In 1997, " Treasured nature " won China foreign trade cultural festival special award. In 1998, " Eulogy of tranquility " won first prize during the art exhibition for 100th year of birth for China' s Ex-premier Zhou En Lai.

Wang is currently the Vice-President for research committee of Chinese paintings; Vice-President of Zhang Da Qian Art research committee; Member of the Chinese fine Artists association - Beijing committee; Director of Research fellow for China international friendship association; Member of the IAA international advertising association; Member of Academic Committee of China Advertisement Association.

He was previously appointed as Vice-president of Council on advertisement for China economics and foreign trade; managing director of International advertising company under Sinochem (China Chemicals Import and Export Corporation) group; member of credentials evaluation committee for senior position attainment of national industrial artist association; Professional consultant for advertising studies at the Beijing University.

1. Gong Bi – a concrete and meticulous method for traditional Chinese realistic painting, characterized by fine brushwork and close attention to details in shape, structure and color.

2. Xie Yi – an abstract way for traditional Chinese painting, characterized by vivid expression on spiritual feelings. The painting method has a bold outline and uses free-hand brushwork.
